Walmart offering on-demand early morning delivery
Walmart is debuting Express On-Demand Early Morning Delivery, offering the convenience of delivery starting at 6 a.m.
“This expanded timing offers them peace of mind knowing they can get things they need at their doorstep to kickstart the day,” the retailer said.
With hundreds of thousands of items available in-store and hundreds of millions more online, customers can easily get what they need during the early morning hours from fashion to furniture and beyond in as soon as 30 minutes, Walmart noted.

Walmart provided the following examples:
- Baby essentials: Being a parent is a round-the-clock job, and running out of diapers or formula in the early hours of the morning can make anyone fussy. Early Morning Delivery allows parents to rest easy, knowing they can get crucial items delivered straight to their crib.
- Work attire: Spilling coffee on your work shirt before an important meeting can be stressful. On-Demand Early Morning Delivery is ready to step in as a solution to those last-minute wardrobe malfunctions. You can even add a few more items, like a lint roller, wrinkle-release spray and a travel pack of stain removers, to ensure you conquer the day in impeccable style.
- Home appliances: Preparing all your smoothie ingredients the night before should be a breeze, that is until you wake up to discover your blender is broken. But there's no need for panic. Just take a deep breath. With our Early Morning Delivery option, your kitchen savior is just a click away. Whether you need high-speed powerhouses for blitzing fruits or versatile hand blenders, we've got you covered for every culinary requirement.
- Outdoor supplies: Starting mid-March, Walmart will begin delivering live bait from more than 3,000 stores – a real catch when you want to hit the lake early. Whether it's tents or comfortable camping chairs for lounging under the stars, customers can add them to their cart, and they will be delivered to their door.
