Walgreens calls on Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka for social campaign

The holidays can be stressful.

At least that’s the idea behind a new social media campaign from Walgreens that stars celebrity couple Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.

Highlighting what it really takes to get through unexpected and stressful holiday moment, the digital content series looks to showcase how the couple tackles such holiday craziness as photo cards, last-minute gifts, decorating, entertaining and staying healthy among other things.

Together, David and Neil will showcase how the retailer can help solve all the holiday dilemmas that pop up throughout the season, the company said.

In addition, the couple will share personal tips, photos and videos on their social media channels.

Consumers can expect to see the content, which is part of the larger Walgreens #TrueHolidayStory campaign, through Christmas.
