    So Delicious Dairy Free is rolling out its latest innovation—a 0g Added Sugar Coconutmilk Yogurt Alternative.

    “We know that consumers are looking for great-tasting yogurt offerings, especially coconutmilk yogurt alternatives, that don’t come with added sugar,” said Luisa Robinson, senior director of yogurt innovation at Danone North America.“With our expertise in dairy-free and coconutmilk products, the So Delicious brand is uniquely poised to meet this demand. Already, this has been Danone North America’s best-performing launch in the plant-based yogurt category, highlighting the clear consumer appetite for a product like this on shelves.”

    Available in four flavors—coconut, strawberry, vanilla and blueberry—the yogurt alternative is made with organic coconuts and is free of dairy, added sugar or other artificial sweeteners, the company said.

    The yogurt alternative is certified vegan, Non-GMO Project Verified, and available at select retailers for $2.19.

    Athena Club’s hair removal products hit Target shelves

    Athena Club’s personal care products have reached a wider audience thanks to a partnership with Target.

    The company announced that its hair removal products are now available at 1,600 Target stores and online.

    “We couldn’t be more excited to have Target as our first mass retail partner,” said Maria Desmarais, co-founder and co-CEO. “We aim to elevate the routines of millions of customers across the U.S. by providing them with solution-driven self-care products through a retailer they know and love. Offering Athena Club products at Target also addresses our digital customer base’s growing demand for omnichannel shopping choices, and allows us to further build loyalty through both in-store and online touchpoints.”

    Launched in 2019, Athena Club has worked to debut five products a year on average since being founded, the company noted.

    Hostess Brands is adding a hint of sweetness to breakfast with two new snacks—Donettes Old Fashioned Mini Donuts and Chocolate Drizzle Baby Bundts.

    Donettes Old Fashioned Mini Donuts feature a moist texture and sweet glaze in a poppable format. The Chocolate Drizzle Baby Bundts consist of a rich chocolate cake topped with a drizzle, the company said.

    “We’re excited to introduce these two new snacks to our lineup of delicious indulgences,” said Chris Balach, general manager of Hostess Brands. “The new Donettes Old Fashioned bring the flavor of a classic donut shop offering right to your home from the grocery store and fan-favorite chocolate is a perfect match for our popular Baby Bundts line. These delicious new treats are sure to bring a little bit of joy to the start of the day.”

    Both of Hostess’ new launches will be available for purchase later this month at grocery retailers and convenience stores nationwide.

    Extra Gum delivers early dose of summer with pink lemonade flavor

    Summer may still be a few months away, but Extra Gum is looking to bring sunshine-filled flavors to its latest limited-edition drop.

    The Newark, N.J.-based company’s new pink lemonade variety contains fruity, tart and sweet flavors, as well as long-lasting flavor, the company said.

    Hershey is welcoming plant-based sweets to its portfolio with the launch of not one but two new products in its Hershey’s and Reese’s lines.

    Made with dairy alternatives, Hershey’s Plant Based Extra Creamy with Almonds and Sea Salt, and Reese’s Plant Based Peanut Butter Cups are portion-controlled sweets that do not contain added sugar or sugar, and are high in protein, the company said.

    “We are excited to introduce these delicious, plant-based options,” says Teal Liu, brand manager of Better For You, The Hershey Company. “Our purpose is to create more moments of goodness for consumers. Those moments are now more accessible for chocolate lovers looking for plant-based alternatives.”

    Reese’s Plant Based Peanut Butter Cups will be available for purchase beginning in March and Hershey’s Plant Based Extra Creamy with Almonds and Sea Salt bars will hit shelves in April.
