Proxies expands retail distribution

The alcohol-free alternative wine beverage is now available at Sprouts.

Proxies has expanded the retail distribution of its alcohol-free alternative wines.

Now available at Sprouts stores nationwide, the beverages look to capture everything that makes wine a great pairing for mealsincluding acidity, body and tanninswithout the alcohol, the company said.

Options that the retailer will be carrying include:

  • Blanc Slate: Made with refreshing and zesty citrus, as well as stone fruit, it has a hint of chili on the finish and can be paired best with briny green olives, seafood platters, spicy Thai takeout, soft goat cheese and grilled zucchini;
  • Red Ember: Containing layer of dark fruit and rich coffee bolstered by a finish of black pepper and cayenne, it pairs best with aged cheddar, ribeye steak, pasta al forno and hearty stews;
  • Pink Salt: Made with fresh fruit spiked with citrus, Sichuan peppercorn and sea salt for a new take on rosé, it pairs best with smoked salmon, pesto pasta, oysters, grilled sea bass and ratatouille; and
  • Red Clay: Containing tart, tannic and medium-bodied notes, it ends with a lingering finish and pairs best with charcuterie, roast duck, wild mushrooms and medium-rare burgers.

Each bottle of Proxies retails for $25 and can be found online, at Sprouts and at specialty retailers.
