Organic products expo to relocate from Baltimore to Boston to accommodate growth

BOULDER, Colo. New Hope Natural Media, a division of Penton Media, announced today that the company’s Natural Products Expo East/Organic Products Expo-BioFach America trade show will relocate from Baltimore to Boston in 2008.

Next year’s Natural Products Expo East will be held Oct. 15 to 18 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center to accommodate exhibitor and attendee growth, reflecting increased interest in the natural, organic and healthy products markets.

"As Natural Products Expo East expands to represent broader consumer markets and new channels of distribution in the healthy products industry, we needed a larger space to serve our customers," stated Alan Peterson, senior vice president of the Trade Show Group for New Hope Natural Media. "The move to Boston is a positive step that signals increased success for the event."

The Boston location will provide increased proximity to the retail buying audience of the Northeast, as well as the ability to provide lodging for more retailers closer to the convention center. The new location will feature a contiguous show floor for exhibitors and attendees.
