    Martha Stewart CBD releases new Tropical Medley CBD Wellness Gummies

    Martha Stewart CBD has expanded its portfolio of Tropical Medley CBD Wellness Gummies. According to the brand, the new product offering features three flavors inspired by the lush fruits of tropical destinations: Alphonso mango, coconut and pineapple.

    The latest flavors, previewed by Martha Stewart at a Palm Beach, Fla. event in February, will transport consumers to sunny destinations, offering a new addition to the brand’s lineup of convenient and trusted flexible wellness solutions, the company said.

    Sandoz debuts generic Combigan

    Sandoz is introducing a generic combination eyedrop brimonidine tartrate/timolol maleate ophthalmic solution, 0.2%/0.5%.

    The medication, the generic of AbbVie's Allergan unit's Combigan, is used to lower eye pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or high eye pressure, and is now available to patients via retail pharmacies, according to the company. 

    Anyone can develop ocular hypertension, but certain groups are at higher risk, including but not limited to African Americans and Hispanics, people over 40 years old, people living with diabetes or high blood pressure, people who are very myopic (near-sighted), and people who take long-term steroid medicines. It is important to treat high eye pressure before it causes damage to the optic nerve and vision loss, the company said.

    “Fixed combinations of medicines to treat ocular hypertension can offer patients enhanced convenience, improved adherence, reduced exposure to preservatives and cost savings,” said Keren Haruvi, president of Sandoz. “We developed this important generic eye treatment in-house to expand patient access to high-quality, more affordable eye care for millions of U.S. patients.”

    Alembic rolls out generic Emla cream

    Alembic is introducing lidocaine and prilocaine cream 2.5%/2.5%. 

    Alembic’s product is the generic of Teva’s Emla cream.

    It is indicated as a topical anesthetic for use on normal intact skin for local analgesia.

    Alembic's lidocaine and prilocaine cream 2.5%/2.5% is available in a 30-gm tube.

    Lupin offers generic Taytulla

    Lupin is offering Merzee (norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol capsules and ferrous fumarate capsules), 1 mg/20 mcg under an exclusive license, marketing and distribution agreement with Slayback.

    Merzee is the generic of Allergan’s Taytulla.

    It is a low-dose prescription birth control pill with 20 micrograms of daily estrogen.

    Norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol capsules and ferrous fumarate capsules, 1 mg/20 mcg had a market value of roughly $90 million, according to IQVIA February 2022 data.

    Apotex debuts generic Abraxane

    Injectables

    Apotex is releasing Paclitaxel protein-bound particles for injection (albumin-bound).

    The medication is the generic of Bristol-Myers Squibb’s subsidiary Abraxis BioScience’s Abraxane.

    Paclitaxel protein-bound particles for injectable suspension is indicated for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and adenocarcinoma of the pancreas.

    Yasso debuts Greek yogurt Mochi

    Yasso released a new frozen Greek yogurt product that consumers will surely find original.

    New from the Boulder, Colo.-based company is its Frozen Greek Yogurt Mochi line, which features frozen Greek yogurt wrapped in fluffy rice dough.

    Available in chocolate, mango, vanilla and strawberry flavors, each individual gluten-free Mochi contains only 80 calories per serving and is free of artificial ingredients, the company said.

    “The launch of Yasso Mochi furthers our position as a leader in frozen snacking as we continue to innovate outstanding new products that marry superior taste and quality nutrition,” said Craig Shiesley, CEO of Yasso. “This new platform allows consumers to reach for Yasso during new occasions and delivers on our brand promise of permissible indulgence, now in a new snackable format.”
