Fruth Pharmacy hires, promotes 3

POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Fruth Pharmacy announced three personnel announcements, promoting Drew Massey to director of pharmacy operations, promoting John Galvan to VP of operations, and hiring Andy Becker as director of pharmacy administration.

Massey, formerly clinical services and pharmacy scheduler, joined Fruth in 2014. He previously worked with clinical services and also with Fruth’s intern program.

In his new role, Massey is responsible for the pharmacists and pharmacy support staff scheduling at all 30 Fruth locations in three states, Central Fill and Fruth’s Patient Care Center.

Galvin, former director of operations, joined Fruth in 2011. He oversees the front end operations, marketing, maintenance, and warehouse departments at Fruth, where he is responsible for more than 400 employees.

Becker previously served as director of pharmacy regional grocery chain Reasor’s. At Fruth, he will working with Massey to manage pharmacy operations and will be responsible for pharmaceutical purchasing, inventory management, third-party reimbursement and insurance plans.
