    CoverGirl is unveiling a new product that will give consumers’ skin a subtle glow. 

    New from the beauty brand is the Clean Fresh Radiant Loose Powder Bronzer, which features micro-fine shimmers to illuminate and warm complexions. 

    Formulated with oil absorbers to keep skin fresh and smooth without feeling dry, the powder gives off a soft focus effect that helps reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines, the brand said. 

    Free of talc and fragrances, the Clean Fresh Radiant Loose Powder Bronzer contains natural-origin pigments and does not contain parabens, sulfates, phthalates or mineral oil.

    Every Man Jack rolls out sustainable bar soap collection

    Every Man Jack is drawing inspiration from the West Coast’s water locals with a new collection of bar soaps. 

    The bar soaps are created from naturally derived and cold-pressed ingredients and are designed to moisturize the skin. The brand claims the soaps are formulated in a manner that reduces energy consumption and therefore results in a gentler soap.

    The bar soaps are made with FSC Certified Paperboard and are available in four options—Glacier Bay, Tahoe Blue, Yosemite Falls and Pacific Drive. 

    Retailing for $8 each, Every Man Jack’s new bar soaps are available for purchase online.

    Sephora touts sustainability efforts with Beauty (Re)Purposed program

    Sephora is shining a light on its Beauty (Re)Purposed program, which offers a start-to-finish solution for sustainable beauty routines that avoid landfills. 

    The empties collection program is designed to help reduce hard-to-recycle packaging waste in the beauty and wellness industry and offers consumers the chance to give their products a second life. 

    The program works by having users clean out their beauty product packaging by removing all product and then dropping them off at their nearest Sephora location that features a dedicated bin. 

    To date, Beauty (Re)Purpised has collected more than 10,860-lbs. of hard to recycle material, which equals to 217,2220 lipstick tubes, the company said.

    Shoppers Drug Mart’s Quo Beauty begins recycling program with TerraCycle

    Shoppers Drug Mart is working to reduce plastic waste with its Quo Beauty color cosmetics line. 

    The retailer announced the launch of the Quo Beauty Cosmetics Free Recycling Program, which through a partnership with TerraCycle, will work towards introducing a solution for customers to recycle their empty beauty components. 

    “As we work to ensure all control brand packaging is recyclable or reusable by 2025, we continue to look for new and innovative ways to eliminate the use of single-us plastics for all product packaging,” said Pat Dean, senior vice president, category management, Shoppers Drug Mart. “We are proud to partner with TerraCycle as the first major retailer to offer a recycling program for a private label colour cosmetics line, offering more sustainable choices to Canadians and reducing our impact on the planet.”

    In addition, for each pound of waste shipped through the program, $1 will be donated to Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health, which helps create equitable and accessible care for all women in Canada.

    Robert Downey Jr., Craig Dubitsky’s Happy enters ready-to-drink space

    Happy Products, founded by actor Robert Downey Jr. and entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky, is expanding its portfolio with a new ready-to-drink collection. 

    Each 11-oz. can contains coffee made with 100% Arabica beans, as well as real milk and sugar, the brand shared.

    Available flavors include: 

    • Caramel Latte: contains notes of butterscotch; 
    • Mocha Latte: contains notes of cocoa;
    • Vanilla Latte: contains notes of marshmallow; and 
    • Cold Brew Coffee: contains notes of chocolate. 

    A store locator can be found on Happy’s website to find a retailer carrying its ready to drink coffee beverages.
