Mielle Organics’ Mango & Tulsi Botanical Blend caters to textured hair needs
Mielle Organics has launched a new collection of hair care products specifically designed to meet the needs of those with wavy, curly and coily hair.
The six-piece Mango & Tulsi Botanical Blend line is formulated with mango and tulsi to help improve hair and scalp health, the company said.

Tulsi, also known as holy basil, is rich in vitamin C and zinc to maintain moisture in the scalp. Other ingredients found in the line include vitamins A and C, and mango to restore and balance moisture in the hair.
When combined together, the ingredients nourish to prevent breakage, moisturize dry hair and scalp, strengthen roots, and smooth a rough hair shaft, the company said.
“It is one of my greatest passions to find new ingredients and develop problem-solving products,” said founder and CEO Monique Rodriguez. “I am proud to introduce the beauty industry's first collection for textured hair featuring the ingredient tulsi. The full collection includes:
- Nourishing Instant 3-In-1 Serum: Designed to transform weakened and frizzy hair, it also seals cuticles with nutrients for smoother and shinier hair, and replenishes the scalp for improved roots and stronger-looking hair;
- Nourishing Shampoo: Created to cleanse and moisturize by removing scalp impurities while also moisturizing hair for softer strands;
- Nourishing Conditioner: Made to protect hair and help strengthen for stronger, shinier and softer-looking hair;
- Nourishing Leave-In Conditioner: Designed to restore moisture and reduce the appearance of breakage and frizz while also helping the scalp maintain vital nourishment for roots;
- Nourishing Whipping Crème: Made to enhance curls and shine, it replenishes dry and limp strands with moisture to enhance curl memory for frizz-free and smoother curls with definition; and
- Nourishing Styling Gel: Holds and defines without flaking when styling, leaving curls soft and shiny.

Mielle Organics’ Mango & Tulsi collection is available exclusively at Ulta Beauty for the suggested retail price of $14.99 per product. The line will debut on the brand’s website later in June.
