Haribo candy goes sweet, sour

Haribo is adding not one, but two new sweets to its roster.

The Rosemont, Ill.-based company is introducing candy enthusiasts to its new innovations — Rainbow Worms and Z!ng Sour Kicks.

Developed to meet the taste needs of those who prefer sour and sweet treats, these two new launches join the brand’s more than 25 other offerings, which include the iconic Goldbears and Starmix products among others.

Adding its own twist to the traditional gummi worm, Rainbow Worms contain a unique five-color rainbow effect in a worm shape and come in three flavors — black currant, lemon and strawberry.

On the other hand, the Z!ng Sour Kicks are sneaker-shaped gummies that contain an undusted sour experience and come in five flavors — orange, grape, raspberry, strawberry and lemon.

“We’re thrilled to spark joy for gummi fans by introducing Rainbow Worms and Z!ng Sour Kicks, the perfect treats for those looking for exciting new flavors, shapes and textures,” Rick LaBerge, the chief operating officer at Haribo America said. “We’re honored that our fans continue to share their love of our gummies with us, and the happiness they bring when it’s needed most, so we're continuing to bring our core favorites and exciting incremental innovations to delight our consumers and retailers around the U.S.”
