Gatorade debuts unflavored water

Gatorade is entering the water category with the launch of its new unflavored beverage. 

Featuring a pH of 7.5 or higher, Gatorade Water is alkaline, electrolyte infused and packaged in a bottle that is made from 100% recycled plastic, the company shared. 

“Today’s athletes are more wellness-minded than ever, and they expect Gatorade to meet all of their hydration needs, 24/7,” said Anuj Bhasin, chief brand officer at Gatorade. “Gatorade Water is an all-day hydration option for all active people, no matter who they are or how they move, from the leader in sports fuel that they know and trust.”

To celebrate the launch, the brand is debuting its “Always in Motion” campaign, which captures the spirit of athletes making moves and progress daily and features dancers, choreographers and producers including Les Twins, Whitney Carson and Aliya Janell. 

Gatorade Water is now available in stores nationwide and online in various sizes.
