Dove aims to eliminate plastic waste with reusable body wash bottles

Dove is looking to keep its body wash packaging sustainable in 2022.

The personal care brand recently announced that it would be working towards its mission of eliminating plastic waste by launching a reusable body wash bottle and refills.

New from the brand is Dove Body Wash Reusable Bottle and Concentrate Refills, which offers consumers an easy-to-use packaging system that was designed to provide users with the same Dove care that they are used to but with 50% less plastic after refills, the company said.

Available in an infinitely recyclable aluminum or 100% recycled plastic bottle, each design contains a quick connect cap for an easy pour without the mess.

Fragrances consumers can choose from in this eco-friendly format include daily moisture, cucumber, and shea butter and warm vanilla.

Currently, the Dove Reusable Aluminum Bottle and Body Wash Concentrate retail for $14.99 and the Reusable Bottle and Body Wash Concentrate retail for $9.99.

Consumers can find both options available for purchase online at Target.com and Amazon.com, which has an exclusive starter kit, as well as at mass, food and drug retailers nationwide.
