Cosset, PurelifeBiotics awarded Buyers’ Choice Awards
Cosset Bath & Body won the Drug Store News Buyers’ Choice Award for its Therapy Bombs during ECRM’s Everyday and Holiday Cosmetics, Skin, Fragrance & Bath Session held last month in New Orleans. PurelifeBiotics was a finalist for its Shower Steamers.
The products were selected from dozens of entries submitted by participating suppliers and displayed in the hospitality area of the session. Attending buyers evaluated each entry and cast their votes based on product packaging and innovation.
“Bath products are becoming an increasingly popular component of consumers’ self-care regimens,” said Craig Chmielowicz, senior vice president of health and beauty care for ECRM. “This trend was clearly evident at this year’s session, as both of this year’s winners are from this segment of the beauty category. Cosset was founded in 2014 following years of selling homemade bath products at farmers markets, where the company gained recognition as an innovator in the specialty bath category. Following several retail chain partnerships, Cosset landed on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list.
The brand’s Therapy Bombs, which were introduced as “Bath Bombs with Benefits,” are each uniquely formulated to offer a different therapeutic bath experience, with benefits ranging from calming or energizing the mind to detoxifying and moisturizing the skin, among other benefits.
According to the company, the fragrances and visual displays of its Therapy Bombs help to exhibit a sense of order and purpose and are designed to be an integral part of consumers’ weekly self-care routine.
