9/13/2019
Primal Kitchen is looking to spice up traditional pasta.

On the heels of launching its Organic and Unsweetened BBQ sauces among others, the Oxnard, Calif.-based company is adding some new pasta sauces to its portfolio.

New additions include tomato basil marinara, roasted garlic marinara sauce, no-dairy alfredo sauce, no-dairy garlic alfredo sauce and no-dairy vodka sauce.

"I'm thrilled about our new Primal Kitchen line of pasta sauces and the delicious variety they offer. From the innovative cashew butter creaminess in the vegan alfredo's and vodka sauce to organic, California-grown tomatoes in the marinaras, this line offers real food consumers of every lifestyle (from keto to plant-based) clean, Italian-inspired options," founder Mark Sisson said. "It's another example of ways consumers can enjoy Primal Kitchen with all the flavor and the same promise of exceptional quality—no gluten, grains, added or refined sugar, soy or canola oils, or artificial ingredients."

The alfredo sauces are made without dairy, certified keto, plant-based, made with avocado oil, and also contain cashew butter as well as garlic, onion and black pepper, the company said.

On the other hand, the vodka sauce is certified paleo, plant-based as well, vegan, made with avocado oil, garlic, oregano, basil and California-grown tomatoes.

Primal Kitchen pasta sauces are sold in 16-oz. and 24-oz. bottles that retail for $8.99 online and at retailers nationwide in the fall.
