Phocus hits CVS Pharmacy shelves

6/25/2019
Clear/Cut Phocus, known best for its Phocus caffeinated sparkling water, announced that it has once again expanded its distribution.

Consumers now can find the product at more than 800 CVS Pharmacy locations across the nation. Brought to the retailer as part of its better-for-you beverage program, it looks to help promote the wellness of customers by being a healthier offering on shelves, the company said.

"CVS is dedicated to expanding its selection of premium, healthy food and beverage offerings, and we're excited to be working with them to offer Phocus to their customers," Tom O'Grady, CEO and co-founder of Phocus, said. "Together, we'll be able to deliver on the promise of offering alternatives to soda and energy drinks to health-conscious customers across the country through our innovative approach to sparkling water."

Developed in Louisville, Ky., the beverage's caffeine is sourced from green tea leaves, while also using L-Theanine, which is a known amino acid that helps reduce anxiety and enhance focus, the company said.

CVS Pharmacy shoppers will be able to choose from three of the brand's flavors to shop — grapefruit, blood orange, and yuzu and lime.
