Kind enters the freezer aisle with frozen bars
Kind is entering new territory.
The brand, known for its healthy snacks, announced the launch of its new Frozen Bars.
Consisting of a nut bar that’s made from nutrient-dense almonds, layered dark chocolate and sea salt, the bars have 190 calories and 11 g of sugar out of a total of 49 g, the company said.
“Since day one, Kind has been committed to balancing taste and health,” Daniel Lubetzky, the founder and chief executive officer of Kind said. “Kind Frozen upholds our brand’s promise and is consistent with how we’ve always entered new categories — with an eye to creatively elevate people’s overall experience. We’re thrilled that Kind Frozen is disrupting the category by leading with almonds.”
Formulated to fill the brand’s promise of creating nutrient-dense snacks, the bar looks to cater to those who seek indulgent snacks. In addition, the bar is made without the use of artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols or genetically engineered ingredients, the company said.
Available in the dark chocolate almond sea salt flavor, which comes in a single-serving bar or six-serving pack, shoppers can find the bar at select Walmart locations across the nation.
