Camber rolls out generic Protonix

Camber is launching pantoprazole sodium for delayed-release oral suspension, which is the generic of Protonix.

Pantoprazole sodium for delayed-release oral suspension is indicated for: 

• The short-term treatment of erosive esophagitis associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease in adults and pediatric patients aged 5 years old and older; 
• The maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis and reduction in relapse rates of daytime and nighttime heartburn symptoms in adult patients with GERD; and 
• The long-term treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions including Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.

Pantoprazole sodium for delayed-release oral suspension is available in cartons of 30 unit dose 40 mg packets.
