Sunday Riley takes to the friendly skies
Sunday Riley is taking its products to the skies.
The beauty brand has partnered with United Airlines on new amenity kits that are rolling out on board, in United Polaris lounges and United Club locations with shower facilities.
“Being a part of the United experience gives us the opportunity to be with our customers wherever they go. We love being able to elevate the amenity offering and connect with an entirely new audience as they get to pamper themselves in the air. With these new exclusive products, customers around the world can feel and look their best while on their journey,” Sunday Riley’s founder and CEO said.
Three cabin-specific amenity kits featuring Sunday Riley products will be available to passengers, including:
- United Polaris business class, which contains an amenity kit with four of the beauty brand’s products — a lip balm with pomegranate seed oil and shea butter; a face cream with a blend of botanicals for hydration while in-flight; hand cream containing shea butter, cocoa butter and rosehip seed oil; and a facial cleansing cloth that contains peppermint extract to balance oil;
- United Premium Plus, which will feature the lip balm and hand cream in its amenity kit; and
- United Premium Transcontinental, which is set to feature the lip balm in its amenity kit.
“Sunday and her team really took the time to understand how travel and the aircraft environment affects our customers and formulated an in-flight remedy that complements their journey with United from beginning to end. By elevating the skincare products offered on our planes and in our lounges, we can continue to lift the experience customers have when traveling with United,” United’s vice president of marketing, Mark Krolick said. “We are thrilled to be working with a trailblazing businesswoman and entrepreneur who is making a global impact from our Houston hub.”
In addition, premium cabin lavatories on dozens of United fleet are to offer a face mist and hand cream from Sunday Riley.
