Philips intros latest additions to Sonicare ProtectiveClean brush range
Philips Sonicare is introducing the three new additions to its ProtectiveClean Electric toothbrush line.
Each of the new brushes features pressure sensors that alerts users to when they are applying too much pressure, the company said.
In addition, the Sonicare ProtectiveClean line is designed to address consumer concerns over their current toothbrush and if it could be damaging both their teeth and gums in the process. The complete line includes:
- The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 with Optimal Plaque Control, which contains a brush head that is designed to help remove plaque that retails for $69.99;
- The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 5100 with Optimal Gum Care, which features a brush head designed to help improve gum health that retails for $89.99; and
- The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 with Diamond Clean, which has a brush head that is designed to help remove stains and can be purchased for the suggested retail price of $129.99.

Sally Hansen brings the ’80s feel with Salon Neon Textual Feeling line
Lovers of all things ’80s rejoice.
Sally Hansen is bringing back the era’s retro feel with its new Salon Neon Textual Feeling collection, which features appliques that are inspired by the ‘80’s nostalgic neon hues and the millennial trend of “textual felling.”
Each of the pre-cut customizable appliques is curated with a message that fits any mood, contains glow in the dark technology and is designed to go over any Sally Hansen nail color, the company said.
To apply, consumers need to apply two coats of any color of the brand’s polish and wait until it is fully dry. Afterward, the applique of choice and can be firmly pressed down onto the nail and sealed with a top coat.
When ready for a change, consumers can soak a cotton ball in polish remover and hold onto the nail for one minute for removal.
Sally Hansen’s Salon Neon Textual Feeling collection contains 22 appliques and is available at mass retailers nationwide for the suggested retail price of $7.99.
L’Oréal Paris, Camila Cabello collab on Havana collection
Camila Cabello is bringing her love for her hometown of Havana to the beauty aisle.
The “Crying in the Club” songstress partnered with L’Oréal Paris on a new limited-edition makeup collection that will have fans singing out “Havana, ooh-na-na.”
Consisting of 14 pieces, the Havana collection features natural-looking, universally-appealing shades and vibrant packaging, which pay tribute to the natural beauty Cabello grew up surrounded by, the company said.
“I am extremely proud and excited about the Havana collection,” Camila Cabello said. “I wanted to create products that not only I would personally wear, but that would work well across various skin tones. For me, looking and feeling my best helps fuel my confidence and I hope to inspire other people to feel the same.”
The collection includes:
- The Havana Sun-Lit Bronzer, which is available in two shades for dewy, bronzed skin;
- The Havana Gotta Give It Brow, which comes in three shades for natural-looking brows;
- The Havana Flash Liner, which is a black eyeliner that allows for easy and precise application;
- The Havana Lip Dew, which consists of lip glosses in four hues; and
- The Havana Eye Shadow, which is a creamy eye shadow that comes in four shades.
