Ogx’s OgXperts campaign expands hair care conversation
Ogx is diving into brand new territory — ahead of its Governors Ball Music Festival sponsorship.
The hair care brand announced the launch of its new OgXperts campaign, which is composed of a diverse group of beauty influencer and experts who are looking to continue the conversation around hair care, the company said.
News of the campaign comes on the heels of the brand announcing its multi-year partnership with The Governors Ball Music Festival as a lead sponsor with direct-to-consumer touchpoints for the general admission and VIP festival attendees.
“Beauty, fashion, self-expression, and music go hand-in-hand,” the North America senior marketing director, Hanan Wajih said. “We are so excited to create an immersive and interactive experience for our beauty-savvy consumer at Governors Ball and simultaneously introduce the OGXperts. This group of talent represents who Ogx is and we can’t wait to see how they bring the brand (and hair!) to life.”
Featured as part of the OgXperts are Kandee Johnson who launched a holiday collection with the brand in 2017, celebrity hairstylists and brand ambassadors Kahh Spence and Jillian Halouska, and such influencer as Franchelli Rodriguez and Julia Saliva.
The overall goal of the platform, which will primarily be social media and digitally driven, is to grow and serve as an opportunity for beauty enthusiasts to connect directly with industry voices and nurture up-and-coming beauty influencers, the company said.
In addition, Ogx will debut its new expert squad at The Governors Ball Music Festival with a meet-and-greet and the ‘Live Your Hair Dreams’ playground on June 1.
