Cosmoprof North American debuts Discover Green Leaf, expands Discover Green

LAS VEGAS — Cosmoprof North America on Wednesday announced a new curated area that it will debut at the event, taking place July 9-11 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The


The Discover Green Leaf area will feature 10 pre-selected brands — among them Hawaiian Body Products, Plantlife Natural Body Care, Nairian USA and Balanced Guru — whose products fall into the green, eco-friendly, organic and natural category. The effort will open the companies up to one-on-one meetings with buyers from both spa locations and specialty retail buyers from such stores as Pharmaca and Sprouts.


“Discover Green Leaf is truly unique in that it offers exhibiting companies the ability to cross over into two different yet complimentary market segments- spa and specialty retail,” Cosmoprof North America marketing director Daniela Ciocan said. “Other events tend to exclusively focus on one or the other, whereas CPNA helps companies capitalize on multiple distribution models to grow their business. For our buyers, they have come to trust that we provide a well-rounded showcase to quickly and efficiently meet their needs and help fill their white spaces.”


Discover Green Leaf launches a year after Cosmoprof North America introduced the Discover Green special area, which will return to the convention this year. The space has grown to include 30 international indie brands in the retail and spa distribution markets. Among the companies featured in the Discover Green area are Abeauty, The Better Skin, Coco Bee Naturals, Dr. Brite, Emani Vegan Cosmetics, Feather & bone, Good Clean Love, Han Skin Care, Intelligent Nutrients, MyChelle, True Moringa and VashSpa. Both special areas feature fully furnished exhibit spaces and they will be distinct from the rest of the show floor. The spaces have been curated with Mary Bemis, founder and editorial director of Insider’s Guide to Spas. Bemis also will moderate some conference sessions that will delve into professional and retail “green” business models and share insights from leading experts, Cosmoprof North America said.
