Accord is introducing vilazodone.
The medication, which is the generic of Allergan's Viibrydr, is used to treat major depressive disorder in adults.
Accord's product, offered in 10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg tablets, is currently available to ship, the company said.
"We're proud to add this medicine to our rapidly expanding pipeline," said Jim Brown, Accord's vice president of sales. "We are committed to addressing the burden of central nervous system diseases with widely accessible generics."
