Target eases last-minute holiday shopping with Christmas Eve availability of same-day services

Shoppers will be able to place orders as late as 6 p.m. local time at most stores on Christmas Eve and obtain their items using same-day services, including drive-up and pickup.

Target shoppers who may need some last-minute gifts will be able to place orders as late as 6 p.m. local time at most stores on Christmas Eve and obtain their items using same-day services, including drive-up and pickup. 

In addition, the retailer also shared that it will be offering extended holiday hours and providing consumers same-day delivery with Shipt on orders placed before 4 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve.

"Making last-minute holiday shopping easy and affordable for our guests is a top priority," said Mark Schindele, executive vice president and chief stores officer, Target. "We're doing that in so many ways, including offering new, deep deals, extended holiday hours and our convenient same-day services. Our stores are stocked and ready, and we're proud to have the best team in retail standing by to make the last few shopping days joyful and seamless for our guests."

Through Dec. 23, most Target locations will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight, and on Dec. 24 they will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. All stores will resume regular hours on Dec. 26. 

Lastly, Target shared special deals that guests will be able to access while doing their shopping, which include sales on toys, select Apple products, Cat & Jack clothing, All in Motion clothing, Meta Quest 1, select kitchen and tabletop items from KitchenAid, Ninja and Cuisinart, and beauty and health products among others.
