Camber introduces torsemide tablets

PISCATAWAY, N.J. A generic drug maker has introduced its version of a drug used to treat cardiovascular and renal diseases.

Camber Pharmaceuticals, based in Piscataway, N.J., announced Wednesday the introduction of torsemide tablets in the 5-mg, 10-mg, 20-mg and 100-mg strengths.

Torsemide tablets are a generic version of Roche Pharmaceuticals’ Demadex and used to treat edema associated with congestive heart failure, renal failure and hepatic disease.
