Zydus Cadila gets FDA blessing for generic Otezla
Zydus Cadila’s generic Otezla provides treatment for adults with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
Adult patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis who are candidates for phototherapy or systemic therapy will soon have a new generic to treat their condition.
Zydus Cadila has received the Food and Drug Administration’s green light for apremilast tablets in dosage strengths of 10 mg, 20 mg, and 30 mg.
The product is the generic of Amgen’s Otezla.

Zydus Cadila's generic medication will be manufactured in the company’s formulation manufacturing facility in SEZ, Ahmedabad.
