“Our communities are our heart and soul, and we are committed to helping them thrive. The Local Supplier Connect program allows us to expand local offerings in our stores and source products from the very communities we serve,” Dewayne Rabon, senior vice president and chief merchant for Southeastern Grocers, said. “As a grocer in the Southeast, we are proud of our roots, and we strive to share and encourage the culture of our communities by highlighting local products in each of our stores.”

In order to launch this supplier sourcing event, Southeastern Grocers will be working with ECRM and RangeMe to source, qualify and connect suppliers with the appropriate buyers.

During the Local Supplier Connect virtual event happening in spring, participants will be able to engage with the retailer’s buyers and category managers and share their product information and marketing plans.
