Shark enters hair care space with drying, styling tool

Shark may be known for its line of vacuums, but the company is looking to make waves in another space.

The Needham, Mass.-based company announced its launch into the hair care space by launching the Shark HyperAir Hair Dryer.

Created to provide users with a fast-drying time, the tool also aims to prevent heat damage, and help obtain desired styles for any hair type.

“Shark has been innovating in the home appliance space for decades and we are now bringing Shark’s commitment to consumer-centered innovation to a new space, hair care, which is ripe for innovation,” Neil Shah, the chief commercial officer at SharkNinja said. “The Shark HyperAir is a revolutionary styling system that has been engineered to deliver ultra-fast drying, no heat damage, and the ability to do styles for all hair types.”

To celebrate the launch of this new innovation, the brand partnered with relationship expert, Amie Leadingham, who will share tips and tricks, as well as why the Shark HyperAir can help one feel confident, the company said.
