Amazon expands Whole Foods grocery delivery markets

Amazon is bringing its two-hour grocery delivery service to more Whole Foods Market customers.

On Tuesday, Amazon launched grocery delivery from Whole Foods Market through Prime Now in the New York area, including parts of Long Island, and select areas in New York City, including lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. It also debuted in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Palm Beach, Florida. The service, which initially launched in February, is now available in 24 cities.

The program will be launched in additional neighborhoods in New York City, along with other cities across the United States throughout 2018, according to Amazon.

Prime Now offers free two-hour delivery on orders over $35. Delivery within one hour is $7.99.
