Pringles partners with ‘Hot Ones’ on limited edition spicy chips

Pringles is kicking up the heat of its Scorchin’ chips line with a brand new collaboration.

The Battle Creek, Mich.-based company worked with First We Feast’s "Hot Ones" series, which is known for its hot wing sauces putting taste buds to the test, with the limited-edition Scorchin’ Hot Ones line.

“Our partnership with 'Hot Ones' is a match made in spicy heaven, so we’re thrilled to collaborate with the show known to test your limits with hot questions and even hotter wing sauce,” said Mauricio Jenkins, senior director of marketing for Pringles. “We challenged ourselves to perfectly match the fiery burn of Hot Ones wing sauce to create our spiciest flavors yet. The debut of the Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones lineup will have fans sweating just like their favorite celeb guests on the show.”

Available in three flavor varieties, flavors consumers can choose from include:

• The Classic Hot sauce, a timeless hot sauce flavor with an extra peppery kick;
• Los Calientes Rojos, a balance of sweet applewood smoked red jalapeños and tangy habanero; and
• Los Calientes Verde, a punchy, smoky blend of serrano and habanero chilies with sweet fruit and tart tomatillo.

Consumers will be able to find the limited-edition Pringles Scorchin’ Hot Ones in Los Calientes Verde at mass retailers nationwide beginning in June, Los Calientes Rojos at Walmart beginning in June and The Classic Hot Sauce at Circle K in July.
