Pop-Tarts sweetens up snacking with doughnut-inspired flavors
Doughnut lovers rejoice!
Pop-Tarts is making its sweetening up its lineup by launching two new products that were inspired by two classic doughnuts — Boston crème and apple fritters.
Featuring its classic flaky crust and icing, each new Pop-Tarts features a filling inspired by the two classic flavors.

In the Frosted Boston Crème Pop-Tarts, consumers can find a custard-flavored filling that is topped with chocolate icing. On the other hand, the Frosted Apple Fritter Pop-Tarts contain an apple-flavored filling that is topped with white string icing that mimics the classic apple fritter style, the company said.
The two new doughnut-inspired treats aren’t the only thing Pop-Tarts has up its sleeve.
In addition, the Battle Creek, Mich.-based company also shared the release of two additional seasonal offerings — the limited-edition Sugar Cookie Pop-Tarts and Eggo Frosted Maple Syrup flavor Pop-Tarts.

Consumers can find the Frosted Boston Crème Pop-Tarts and Frosted Apple Fritter Pop-Tarts at retailers nationwide towards the end of December in an 8-count box that will retail for $2.99.
