Physicians Formula flashes back to the ’80s via ‘The Breakfast Club’ collection
Physicians Formula is going back in time with a reimagined look of the classic ’80s film, “The Breakfast Club.”
The beauty brand collaborated with Universal Brand Development to launch its first-ever licensed collection, which was inspired by the coming of age story.

Consisting of seven pieces, including princess-inspired lipsticks, detention-inspired mascaras and palettes, the collection dives into memorable moments from the film and looks to spark nostalgia with every swatch, the brand said.
Infused with its proprietary butter blend of Murumuru butter, Cupuaçu butter and Tucuma butter from the Amazon region, products that are part of the collection include:
- Saturday Detention Face Palette: A blend of bronzers, highlighters and blushes in versatile matte and multidimensional finishes;
- Being Bad Feels Pretty Good Eyeshadow Palette: A 12-shade eyeshadow palette, with a shade range of butter mattes, shimmery stains and metallics, is made to suit every skin tone and eye color;
- Detention Mascara: Is infused with keratin and black pigments, and delivers full volume and length. It also contains essential fatty acids and provitamins that soften, condition and moisturize lashes; and
- The Princess Lipstick: A full coverage color with a moisturizing semimatte finish that is available in three shades — The World Is an Imperfect Place, Get Real and I Don’t Like Monday’s.
