NACDS promotes 6 staff members to issues-focused roles

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has promoted six staff team members to roles it said are vital to advancing its Access Agenda and related issue initiatives.

The organization on Tuesday announced the promotion of Michael Angeloni, Christie Boutte, Vanessa Callen, Heidi Ecker, Sara Rozak and Evan Sarris.

Angeloni was promoted from government affairs coordinator to government affairs and communications associate; Boutte was promoted from senior director of federal and state public policy to vice president of regulatory advocacy and research; and Callen was promoted from grassroots and public policy associate to manager of political engagement and Political Action Committee director. Additionally, Ecker was promoted from senior director of government affairs and grassroots programs to senior director of government affairs and political engagement; Rozak was promoted from senior director of research programs to vice president of pharmacy care and health strategy; and Sarris was promoted from coalition and stakeholder associate to manager of federal government affairs.

"Their collective experience totals 40 years of hard-charging work for NACDS. With their NACDS and other experience, they bring a combined total of 80 years of service to health care and business associations, pharmacy companies, the legislative and executive branches at the federal and state levels of government, and patient advocacy organizations. This experience is essential to our success on our priority issues and programs."
