HRG debuts video series on DSCSA compliance
Independent and small chain dispensers have a new resource from Hamacher Resource Group to help them get up to speed about the Drug Supply Chain Security Act.
HRG has published three videos discussing DSCSA and what dispensers need to know to ensure compliance by November 2020 and beyond.
The first in the series describes details of the DSCSA, including the goal of the law, as well as what the various members within the supply chain have already achieved to comply. The second video digs deeper into the steps dispensers need to take to be compliant, especially for the upcoming deadlines in 2020 and 2023. The final video is an overview of HRG’s Rx Track-and-Trace Compliance Service, including how it relieves the burden from the dispenser by providing a repository solution and proactive transaction monitoring to identify any anomalies that should be investigated.
“There’s a lot to understand and prepare to meet the requirements of DSCSA. Using video allowed us to convey information in a way that’s easily consumed and available for viewing at any time. Those that need to get up to speed on the law, what needs to be accomplished and by when can access this series whenever they have the time to delve in," said Tom Boyer, director of national accounts and a member of the HRG owners group.
