ECRM names Savitch to international development role
ECRM has added a longtime industry veteran to its roster. The Solon, Ohio-based company has named Eric Savitch to the role of senior vice president for international business development. Savitch joins ECRM from EnsembleIQ, where he vice president and brand director for Drug Store News and Store Brands.
In his new role, Savitch will work to expand ECRM’s trade promotion organization segment relationships by developing a program of services and content to help suppliers export their products to the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
“Eric’s polished selling skills, proven leadership, experience in creating and delivering educational content in print, face-to-face and digital media formats, his extensive CPG industry knowledge and insights, and longstanding relationships with leading retailers, combined with his firsthand understanding of ECRM’s value proposition make him ideally suited for this position,” said Greg Farrar, CEO of ECRM. “I am certain Eric will be enormously successful and make a meaningful contribution to our company.”
Savitch’s career began at McGraw-Hill in 1992, followed by experience at Sherwin Williams, where he sold products to such retailers as Sears and Builders Square. He also has worked as a national sales representative with Ophthalmology Times and at medical textbook publisher Slack as global sales director of the Orthopedic Group. Savitch joined Lebhar-Friedman in 2001 as a national sales manager for Drug Store News and was promoted to associate publisher in 2011 and publisher in 2015.
