“Elderberry has been used to support optimal immune health for hundreds of years and continues to be a go-to herb in our modern world today,” Erin Stokes, naturopathic doctor and medical director at MegaFood, said. “The dark purple berries are a source of anthocyanins — a type of flavonoid also found in other deeply pigmented fruits, such as blueberries, raspberries and bilberries, that help support the immune system.”

In addition, the Elderberry Zinc Immune Support Syrup is vegetarian, certified organic, Non-GMO Project Verified and certified glyphosate residue-free. The syrup also is free of gluten, dairy or soy.
