Manscaped rolls out trimmer for unwanted facial hair

Manscaped is taking men’s grooming to another level.

New to the San Diego-based company’s portfolio is The Weed Whacker — an electric nose and ear hair trimmer.

“Our market research found that 79% of partners polled admitted that long nose and ear hair is unattractive,” Paul Tran, founder and CEO of Manscaped said. “Our product development team worked tirelessly to engineer the best nose hair trimmer possible.”

Featuring the brand’s SkinSafe technology, which looks to help reduce nicks, snags and tugs, as well as a contoured design, The Weed Whacker is equipped with a rechargeable li-ion battery and lasts for up to 90 minutes of use, the company said.

“Innovating our product line with a tool used for 'above-the-waist' grooming was a natural progression for our brand vision and overall mission,” Paul said. “Not only are we dedicated to providing men the right tools for the job, but we aim to instill self-assurance in our consumers. Addressing visible, unwanted facial hair helps make a man feel clean, refined and more confident in just a matter of moments.”

In addition, the product has water-resistant capabilities and a 360-degree rotary dual-edge blade system.

Available as part of The Performance Package bundle, which retails for $109.99 and contains Manscaped’s The Lawn Mower 3.0, Crop Reviver, Crop Preserver, a disposable clean-up mat and boxers, it will be available beginning in July.

For those interested in just purchasing The Weed Whacker, it will retail for $39.99 and be available at Target stores nationwide.
