Hy-Vee to host 3rd ‘Best of Local Brands’ summit

Hy-Vee’s “Best of Local Brands” summit, which takes place Sept. 8 to 10, is accepting submissions across the grocery, produce, deli, general merchandise, frozen, dairy, health and beauty care categories.

For a third year, Hy-Vee will be hosting its “Best of Local Brands” summit.

Taking place in September, the summit looks to expand and enhance the product offerings at the retailer’s stores across the communities it serves, including Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Consisting of 15 to 30-minute virtual presentations from selected suppliers, the summit will take place from Sept. 8 to 10, the company said.

Both RangeMe and ECRM will be aiding the retailer with the summit by helping source, qualify and connect suppliers with the appropriate buyers.

Sourcing and product submissions will be made through RangeMe, while ECRM will qualify suppliers, create curated meeting schedules and facilitate face-to-face meetings with Hy-Vee buyers.

Submissions are currently being selected online across the grocery, produce, deli, general merchandise, frozen, dairy, health and beauty care categories.
