HDA names 2021 DIANA Award winners

The Arlington, Va.-based trade association presented the awards as part of its virtual 2021 HDA BLC Online conference.

The Healthcare Distribution Alliance is honoring 10 consumer and pharmaceutical manufacturers with its 2021 Distribution Industry Awards for Notable Achievements in Healthcare, or DIANA, Awards. The Arlington, Va.-based trade association presented the awards as part of its virtual 2021 HDA BLC Online conference.

The awards, established in 1959, are meant to recognize manufacturer members of HDA for developing innovative new products and promotions for the healthcare distribution industry while also enhancing business practices with their distributor trading partners. Every year, HDA asks its distributor members to nominate their top five manufacturer partners, and winners are selected by distributor member executives.

“Strong working relationships between HDA distributors and more than 1,400 manufacturers are essential to ensuring that millions of medicines, healthcare products, vaccines and medical supplies are delivered safely and reliably to Americans each day,” said Chester “Chip” Davis Jr., president and CEO of HDA. “We congratulate our 2021 DIANA honorees for being the standard-bearers for innovation and collaboration in the healthcare supply chain.”
