GNC rolls out exclusive G Fuel energy drinks

G Fuel is debuting four ready-to-drink cans and two energy formula powder formats exclusively at GNC.

GNC shoppers who turn to the retailer for their energy drink needs now have a few new items from G Fuel to try out.

The companies announced that G Fuel would be debuting eight new beverages, with four ready-to-drink cans and two energy formula powder formats being exclusive to the health and wellness retailer.

“Our investment in the gaming space continues to grow with the addition of G Fuel,” said Kevin Maloberti, vice president of merchandising at GNC. “We know mental fitness and cognitive function are just as important as physical health for gamers and fitness enthusiasts looking for an edge ahead of their competition. These new products from G FUEL complement existing gaming products and open new avenues for energy boosts and focus to help consumers live well.”

The exclusive additions include:

  • G Fuel Low Stim RTD: Featuring 140 mg of caffeine, it is available in Sour Powder (sour raspberry candy); Divine Peach (peach, kiwi and dragon fruit); and Miami Nights (strawberry, pineapple and coconut) flavors;
  • G Fuel Compound V — Inspired by “The Boys”: Available in 16-oz. cans and 40-serving powder tubs, it contains citrus, berry, coconut and ginseng notes; and
  • G Fuel Hype Sauce Energy Formula Powder: An easy-to-mix powder that looks to help gamers with a boost of energy, focus, reaction and endurance.

G Fuel’s energy formula powder is free of sugar, contains antioxidants from 18 different fruit extracts and has 15 calories and 140 mg of caffeine per serving, the company said.
