GNC launches Mad Pony Energy

12/27/2019

GNC is looking to help consumers get some extra pep in their steps.

The company announced the launch of its new Mad Pony Energy drink, which contains nature-based NeuroFactor, 200 mg of caffeine and no sugars, the brand said.

"I couldn't be more excited to let Mad Pony out of the stable," Ryan Ostrom, the chief brand officer at GNC Holdings, said. "We harnessed an opportunity to use our expertise in nutritional science, and an established supply chain of quality ingredient sources, to create a superior energy drink that we can stand behind. GNC Mad Pony is a fun new brand that encourages people to live well and embrace who they are, and not follow someone else's rules. We like to call it, living the 'Get Mad. Buck Hard.' lifestyle – go wild, be eccentric and be proud."

In addition, the beverage also contains such vitamins as B6 and B12, CoQ10 and GABA, which is a naturally occurring amino acid that works on neurotransmitters and brain function, the company said.

Mad Pony is available in cherry berry, orange mango and watermelon flavors, which come in a 16-oz. can that retails for $2.49 or a case of 12 for $25.99 exclusively at GNC’s physical and digital shelves.
