Reed’s Ginger Beer adds hemp, mule products

Reed’s Ginger Beer’s portfolio is expanding.

The Norwalk, Conn.-based company is debuting several new innovations, which are made with real and fresh ginger, as well as an updated package redesign.

"Consumers are increasingly mindful about their beverage choices — they want better for you ingredients like the real ginger root that's always been at the 'root' of Reed's Ginger Beers, delivering great bold taste and the wellness benefits of ginger," Val Stalowir, the CEO of Reed's said. "From our classic ginger beer in three levels of ginger strength (original, extra and strongest) to our newest introductions, including our zero sugar, zero calorie drinks, we've got something for all consumers to enjoy and help them add more healthy ginger into their lives."

Reed’s 2019 launches include:

  • Zero Sugar Ginger Beer, which has a Jamaican-style recipe and real ginger, comes in an all-natural sugar-free format, is packaged in 12-oz. bottles and 16-oz. cans, and is available in the original, extra and strongest varieties;

  • Ready to Drink Mule, which features ginger, and comes in the classic and zero sugar 12-oz. cans;

  • Wellness Ginger Beer with Hemp Extract, which combines ginger with broad spectrum hemp functionality, comes in original and zero sugar 10-oz. slim cans, and uses proprietary Nano performance for bioavailability; and

  • Ginger Wellness Shots, which have 2000 mg of fresh ginger, B vitamins, 120 mg of natural caffeine from tea and comes in original and energy 2.5-oz. bottles.


In addition, the brand will be bringing its new launches to the Natural Products Expo West 2019, which is being held from March 5 to 9 in Anaheim, CA.
