Mott's Sensibles bring less sugar to the table

5/17/2018
Mott’s latest launch delivers the same flavor consumers have come to know, but with less sugar included.

The new brand's new Sensibles line contains no added sugars, no artificial sweeteners and comes in three flavors consumers of all ages can enjoy, the Plano, Texas-based company said.

“Our research shows that over 60% of people are concerned with the amount of sugar in juice. Parents want a juice that provides the taste they've come to expect from Mott's, with less sugar stress,” Kelly Stephenson, director of brand marketing for Mott's, said. “Mott's Sensibles is a testament to our commitment to give parents solutions to help their families be their very best. Mott's is committed to developing innovative products that continue to address consumer's needs and are ultimately approved by our consumers.”

Each of the three new flavors — apple raspberry, apple pineapple and apple cranberry — are made with 100% apple juice, coconut water and a splash of vegetable juice.

The brand's new Sensibles juices are now available at local grocers and mass retailers nationwide in 64-oz. multi-serve bottles and in 8-packs of 6-oz. juice pouches.

Each 8-oz. serving contains 90 calories and 18g of sugar, versus the 110 calories and 27g of sugar found in other 100% apple juices, the company said.
