Hunt’s Best Ever Ketchup lands on retail shelves


Hunt’s is getting a head start on summer’s grilling season by launching its Best Ever Ketchup.

The 100% all-natural ketchup from the brand, which is part of the Conagra portfolio, is made with vine-ripened California tomatoes and cane sugar, and does not contain any high fructose corn syrup, the Chicago-based company said.

“Hunt’s Best Ever will be your go-to ketchup for the summer of 2019 and beyond,” Jill Dexter, Conagra Brands vice president of condiments and enhancers said. “Our thickest, richest Hunt’s ketchup yet is so delicious, we just had to call it ‘Hunt’s Best Ever.”

In addition to putting the ketchup on the traditional hotdog and burgers, the brand recommends using the product in such recipes as sesame soy ketchup, seafood cocktail sauce, sweet n’ tangy wings, slow cooker BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken dip. The recipe’s for these foods can be found on the Ready Set Eat website, the brand adds.

Consumers interested in switching up their ketchup game can head to their nearest grocery store or other major retailer and buy the brand’s newly launched Best Ever Ketchup, which comes five bottle sizes that range between 14-oz. to 62-oz. and retail from $1.69 to $4.49.
