Hi-Chew intros Superfruit Mix
Hi-Chew’s snacks are getting a whole lot sweeter.
The brand, which is part of the Morinaga America portfolio, unveiled its new Superfruit Mix, which is filled with flavors derived from fruits that contain super fruit properties, the Irvine, Calif.-based company said.
Containing such flavors as acai, kiwi and dragon fruit, the sweet treats are made with concentrated fruit juices and feature real chia seeds in every bite.
The açai variety contains the açaí berry’s purple color, the kiwi flavor features the fruit’s seed texture and dragon fruit has a pink outer color and white center, the company said.
“Hi-Chew fans across the country have spoken, and we are thrilled to debut the favored Dragon Fruit alongside Açaí and Kiwi in the new Superfruit Mix,” Tatsuya Takamiya, the chief marketing officer of Morinaga America, said. “With this new variety, we’re excited to tap into consumer trends of better-for-you, superfruit flavors with the authentic, real fruit-forward taste that Hi-Chew enthusiasts enjoy.”
Hi-Chew’s new Superfruit Mix is currently available exclusively at 7-Eleven locations across the nation, and its Amazon page, for the suggested retail price of $2.39. Beginning April 26, the snack will hit Walmart shelves across the nation as well as the brand’s website.
