Hallmark's Paper Wonder celebrates mom

5/2/2019
This Mother’s Day, Hallmark wants consumers to show their mothers how they really feel with a card.

The Kansas City, Mo.-based company announced that for the special day, it is to have an expanded selection of its Paper Wonder pop-up cards that aim to help everyone and every type of relationship.

"Many people feel less connected than ever despite more ways to communicate than ever, and at Hallmark, we believe that cards have the power to change that," Lindsey Roy, the chief marketing officer at Hallmark Greetings, said. "Digital communication may make it easy, but at Mother's Day, there's something about a card that just does more. Cards can do some pretty amazing things – they have the power to bring us closer, make us happier, rekindle relationships, and bridge the miles between us to keep our most important relationships strong."

For Mother’s Day, the card collection looks to add a new dimension and storytelling capability though paper craft artwork, that can also double as a keepsake, in 35 different designs, the company said.

In addition, the company is partnering with Create & Cultivate on a Mother's Day content series and brunch honoring moms, and launching Mother's Day TV commercials that are to air before the big day on cable and syndicated networks, as well as online.

Shoppers can find the Mother’s Day Paper Wonder collection wherever Hallmark products are currently sold.
