Fresh Cravings brings its organic salsa to retail shelves

FoodStory Brands, the parent company behind Fresh Cravings’ line of refrigerated salsa, announced that its products would now be featured on Publix’s shelves.

The Phoenix-based company’s new line of organic salsas is available in three different heat varieties — restraint style mild, medium and hot — and in either chunky salsa mild or medium heat options, as well. In addition, the brand’s grab-and-go restaurant-style salsa with tortilla chips in mild and medium also are available for purchase.

“When creating Fresh Cravings Organic refrigerated salsa, we held tight to our mission to offer Americans better, healthier foods at affordable prices. We especially wanted to remove the cost barrier so that more people can have access to fresh, organic foods,” said Jay Whitney, president of FoodStory Brands, the company behind Fresh Cravings. “We have seen tremendous success with our core line of Fresh Cravings Salsa, and developing organic recipes was a natural next step. We are absolutely thrilled to be launching Fresh Cravings Organic Salsa with such an esteemed retailer as Publix.”

Each product comes in a 16-oz. size and is made in Southern California with such certified organic ingredients as vine-ripened tomatoes and vegetables that are never cooked or pasteurized, the company said.

Flavors featured in the salsas include chili peppers, jalapeños, onions, cilantro, cumin, oregano and garlic.
