Butterfinger launches improved recipe

In order to spread the news of its newly launched improved recipe, Butterfinger has unveiled a brand new campaign.

Consisting of a television spot, social creative across multiple digital platforms and its website, the Glendale, Calif.-based company wants consumers to be aware of its new crispier and crunchier recipe.

Butterfinger’s new recipe includes carefully selected United States grown peanuts, a chocolate coating, peanut butter, a double layer and higher-quality packaging to lock in freshness.

The television spot from the candy brand, which is part of the Ferrero portfolio, highlights the new tastier experience of the candy bar and introduces viewers to the Butterfinger alien — who embodies the personality of the company — and features the revamped “nobody lays a finger on my better Butterfinger” tagline, the company said.

Consumers can now find the newly launched candy bar on the shelves of retailers across the country.
