Probelle intros shoe deodorant patch

Probelle is expanding its offering of foot care products.

The Dania Beach, Fla.-based company announced the launch of its new shoe deodorant patch, which contains an antimicrobial solution that’s emitted into the shoe.

“This shoe deodorant patch is the first of its' kind to be sold in the United States. No one else has it,” Leon Kohn, founder of Cosmetics LK, the parent company of Probelle, said. “It has an adhesive side that adheres to the upper inside part, or vamp, of any shoe. Lasting up to 90 days, the patch solves the current ailment of treating shoes daily with a spray or powder.”

It also contains a nontoxic solution with four essential oils — patchouli, fenugreek extract, thyme and eucalyptus — to prevent the growth of bacteria, fungi and viruses in shoes, the company said.

“No more worrying about inserts slipping out while traveling throughout the day. The best part is that it fits in any size shoe, and you don't even feel it. During the testing phase, I would forget it was in my shoe,” Janelle Libera, Cosmetics LK's director of product development, said. “You're only reminded by the fresh scent that is emitted into the air from the patch once you slip off your shoe.”

Probelle’s shoe deodorant patch is now available for purchase on the company’s website and on Amazon for the suggested retail price of $11.99.
