Drunk Elephant adds ceramides to Lala Retro Whipped Cream

To celebrate its House of Drunk pop up space in New York City’s Soho neighborhood, Drunk Elephant is adding a little something special to one of its moisturizers.

The beauty brand announced that it has reformulated its popular Lala Retro Whipped Cream with Ceramides.

Featuring an added plant ceramide complex, it looks to provide a replenishing barrier of support by reinforcing the skin’s acid mantle and defend against the effects of everyday stressors, the company said.

"I'm so excited to bring the House of Drunk to New York City where we have such a supportive community of fans. I wanted to introduce the recently updated Lala Retro Whipped Cream (now with ceramides!) in a fun and experiential environment before it launches in July — this pop-up is insane and feels exactly like you're stepping inside the brand; it just brings it to life," Drunk Elephant founder, Tiffany Masterson said. "I'm looking forward to spending time with fans along with those who are new to Drunk Elephant and its philosophy. I really just can't wait for people to see it!"

In addition, the newly revamped Lala Retro Whipped Cream with Ceramides is infused with six rare African oils, and helps retain moisture as well as combat signs of aging, the company said.

Drunk Elephant will officially launch the Lala Retro Whipped Cream with Ceramides in July on its website and Sephora. Those who visit the House of Drunk pop up space on the selected dates and times it is open, will be able to participate in an immersive experience to physically see and feel how ceramides benefit the skin.
