Clarisonic to retire several brush heads

2/20/2019
On the heels of releasing its new Mia Smart and Mia Prima brush heads, Clarisonic has announced that it will be retiring some of its original products.

Though before consumers say goodbye to their beloved favorites, the Redmond, Wash.-based company discontinues several products, its asking users to vote in order to save their favorite product from its legacy collection.

Featured products in that category include the original Radiance Brush Head and the original Sensitive Brush Head.

Voting will be open on the brand’s Instagram account on Feb. 20, and for that say only, the company said.

"Since the brand's launch in 2004, we have amassed a cult following of Clarisonic addicts, and understandably many have come to love our original devices and brush heads," the Clarisonic GM, Kathy Chi Thurber said. "As with all product updates and improvements, there are always loyalists who are hooked on the originals and simply can't live without them. We want to hear from you and share our newest innovation with you, Mia Smart. This product leverages all the learnings and tech advancements from when we created the beauty device category over 15 years ago- and still fits all our original brush heads."

In the meantime, legacy collection items will be available for purchase on its website, while supplies last, under the last chance category.
